Will Belshah

Belshah shelved their practice for years. Always an artist, but when they didn’t see themselves represented during education due to a hangover of Section 28, they thought it wasn’t for them. Now aged 29 - and a few dozen trips to Derek Jarman: Protest! and an ADHD diagnosis later - what had been a slow trickle of work has entered a prolific period. Activism and protest coalesce with art; with a prominent focus on establishing and continuing dialogues with other artists, politicians and the public around social issues.
