Proper Art School
Female artist born and bred in the north. A very literal person who makes very literal art.
I come from a long line of Irish catholic story tellers who have always managed to look at the world with a funny sense of positive negativity, something which has had a strong influence on my work.
I like textiles because it offers me the perfect mix of creativity alongside a practical, hands on approach when I put the pieces together.
A lot of my work is based in social commentary with a tongue in cheek nod to the ridiculousness of life.
