Joan Cornellà (born 1981) is famous for his surreal, dark, and unsettling comic strips that use bright, cheerful pop-art colors to mock the anxieties and absurdities of modern life.
The piece builds on Cornellà's recurring satirical motifs (echoing earlier works like his Idiotmeter Man figures), capturing a deadpan, darkly humorous commentary on societal judgment and human foolishness.
