Vital Aura captures Damien Hirst’s enduring fascination with the beauty, fragility and transformative power of nature. Combining delicate butterfly imagery with an energetic explosion of vibrant colour, the composition creates a striking interplay between movement, vitality and stillness.

Butterflies have long been central to Hirst’s artistic practice, symbolising life, mortality and the possibility of renewal. In Vital Aura, their presence evokes a sense of freedom and optimism, while the dynamic abstraction celebrates the extraordinary energy of existence. The work reflects Hirst’s distinctive ability to transform themes of impermanence into a powerful celebration of life and beauty.
